It almost wasn't Thanksgiving...

Thank goodness for Sarah Hale.  She showed perseverance by writing to President after President until Abraham Lincoln finally declared a nation day of Thanksgiving to bring our country together.

Veterans Day

November 11 is a special day in the US to honor our country's veterans.  It is also a time to remember those men and women who gave their lives defending our country.

Back to school!

We're back in school and there's lots to do!  I read this new book to my Kindergarten students this week and they loved it.  I want to share books through video so I'm working with the Zoom program.  Wish me luck!

Our school will celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday all week long February 29-March 4.  It will be as fun as eating Green Eggs and Ham!
